TALLADEGA

Chris ran his first World of outlaw race on 10/22/11 at the Talladega short track. this was the night before the NASCAR race. Tony Stewart and Kasey Kahane both ran the WOO race also, which was really cool. It is a shame that some fans won't give them a little space so they could just race. It was so bad they had to rope off their pit area to work on the cars and allow Tony and Kasey room to get in the cars. Chris was 13th quick during hot laps. He had a real bad pill draw and timed last. This also allowed us to work on the car and we screwed it up good LOL. Any how we tuned it for the heat race and Chris missed the transfer by one spot. Chris started 6th in the B-main and finished 5th. This put Chris in the A main but he strarted on the last row (24 cars started A) Chris did an out standing job finishing 16th. Chris would have had a top 10 if we had not blown it for time trails. Chris had a couple close calls. Had a slid job done on him that was total crap. It about knocked him off the track. Chris was able to pass him back clean only to have it done again and lucky they both didn't get upside down. Chris was able to pass again clean and next time the driver slid off the track bring out a caution. I guess without Chris to stop him, he couldn't hold it on the tracl LOL. Anyhow a few laps later the same car went off the travk again and this time no Yellow.
